Mouse is a 5 and a half year old little grey tabby who’s as clever as they come and filled with much love. She comes when her name is called, greets you at the door, and plays fetch – if she feels like it. When you’re on the couch, she’s on your lap, purring to get petted. She knows the sound of a can being opened and will patiently wait for her treat!
Mouse is a special kitty. She has feline lymphocytic plasmacytic gingivostomatitis, or LPGS, which means that her gums are chronically inflamed and irritated around the teeth. Mouse has had all but one of her molars removed, so the irritation is minimal; she happily crunches kibble on her gums. That last molar will need to go eventually, but it’s okay for now.
She’s an indoor-only kitty and will need to stay that way, as she has little defense in the way of biting. Mouse needs a palace where she is the queen bee, with no other cats. She might get along with a small dog, as she’s met a few and has been okay. She’s currently living with four other cats, which is not her cup of tea; she’s licked all the fur off of her lovely spotted belly out of stress, and has taken to marking outside the litter boxes – both behaviours that will subside when she gets to be in a home where she can rule the roost.
Please take a moment to meet little Mouse, and if you can provide her a special forever home she will show you love like you’ve never known!
