Shiloh – adoption pending

Hello! My name is Shiloh & I am 3 years old. I am energetic, playful & very obedient to the proper leader. I am an absolute sweetheart who loves to adventure & explore the great outdoors.
Shiloh lived with a family of two Sisters & a young girl in her first home. This new home of adoption simply wasn’t the correct path for this lively, energetic gal. She needed more exercise & way more socialization than this lovely home could provide.
After recognizing that Shiloh wasn’t getting what she needed out of life, her dog walker offered to foster her until she found a suitable home. Shiloh’s current foster home of eight months has many dog friends and many people that love her affectionate personality. Shiloh has grown exponentially with her socialization for people & dogs as a result of this. Although a darling one on one, she still needs guidance in a couple of areas such as her greetings with some dogs & few people.   she is a bit of a fearful girl so does need some some guidance and help with that.. She is so wonderful & loving once the greeting has occurred. Shiloh will need a very loving strong leader & guardian to be able to give her the amount of love and exercise she needs.
She is a mixed breed with short thick body. Her passions include swimming, fetching, tug-a-war, and spooning.

This is a courtesy post but we are assisting with finding her a forever home.. so please email us if you’re interested

Broken Promises Rescue is a volunteer run, not-for-profit, animal rescue organization located in the lower Vancouver Island. We are a group of long time rescuers that have come together to focus on improving the lives of unwanted, neglected and orphaned animals on Vancouver Island (as well as remote communities and other areas of B.C. if our resources allow us to.) Currently we are seeing many pets overlooked in the shelter system because they have less than desirable qualities. They may have medical or behavioral issues or they may simply be the wrong color, age or breed. At Broken Promise Rescue we believe all animals deserve to experience a life without pain, loneliness or hunger and want them to know what it feels like to be loved and cherished, despite appearance, age or medical condition. We are also dedicated to public education and raising awareness to help end the ongoing abuse, neglect and suffering. Educating children and adults about the responsibilities of animal ownership will go a long way in influencing public opinion on proper animal care, and help mold a more compassionate future. No animal should suffer at the hands of ignorance.
