Piggy Sue and Apple Piggy Sue came into rescue about 16 months prior to Apple. She is about 5 years old and is a quiet, sedate girl. Apple is 10 months and really lets those squeals of delight fly when it’s dinner time. Both had been singleton girls but quickly bonded and spend much of their time cuddled together. Apple is a bit shy, but quickly settles into your arms when you pick her up to cuddle, especially if you have Piggy Sue with her and bring out an extra bit of carrot. Both enjoy a wide range of veggies (spring mix, tomatoes, carrot, broccoli, green peppers, coloured peppers, kale, cucumber, celery, spinach, apple, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and dandelion greens). They go crazy for their Oxbox Vitamin C cookies. Hay is the best thing in the world and they get so excited when it’s hay time (morning and night, with veggies at dinner time). Apple popcorns like crazy when the hay arrives. They have been fostered in a home with cats (cats will sit on top of the cage and the girls aren’t bothered by it) and 2 small dogs and don’t react to barking. Neither has been exposed to young children but they should adapt to older children easily
