Wizard and Sage

These bonded brothers are super loving towards each other and totally bonded. They must go together.

Wizard is much heavier and is also much more nervous around people he doesn’t know. Sage is much smaller but quite comfortable meeting new people, both will completely open up over time and turn their bellies ready for rubs. They are extremely affectionate. Both are very affectionate once they know you and are comfortable. They both would love a home with someone who can give them lots of love and attention.

They are completely healthy but probably a little overweight, especially Wizard. Funny enough, the smaller one, Sage is pretty much the boss and let’s that be know to Wizard. Both have very unique markings and their fur is very soft and cuddly. They love attention and playtime, mostly with pull string toys and wands. They can have come with them any toys, bowls, litter box and even a drinking fountain. I’ve only ever had one bed because they mostly like hang out and sleep on cat tree. They both eat Instinct cat food.
Born Sept 20, 2020.

If this is a courtesy post but we are assisting with their adoptions so if you’re interested please fill out an online application form.

Broken Promises Rescue is a volunteer run, not-for-profit, animal rescue organization located in the lower Vancouver Island. We are a group of long time rescuers that have come together to focus on improving the lives of unwanted, neglected and orphaned animals on Vancouver Island (as well as remote communities and other areas of B.C. if our resources allow us to.) Currently we are seeing many pets overlooked in the shelter system because they have less than desirable qualities. They may have medical or behavioral issues or they may simply be the wrong color, age or breed. At Broken Promise Rescue we believe all animals deserve to experience a life without pain, loneliness or hunger and want them to know what it feels like to be loved and cherished, despite appearance, age or medical condition. We are also dedicated to public education and raising awareness to help end the ongoing abuse, neglect and suffering. Educating children and adults about the responsibilities of animal ownership will go a long way in influencing public opinion on proper animal care, and help mold a more compassionate future. No animal should suffer at the hands of ignorance.
