Fritter, Minka (adopted), Dove and Starling

Fritter is energetic, curious and cuddly. She has a big purr and loves head scratches. She explores as much as possible and likes to observe everything that is going on from her declared throne. She was born Apr 23rd. She would love a home with another young cat or one of her buddies !

Minka – Is Adopted !!!

Dove is a sweet, outgoing, playful kitten who would love a home with Starling (or at least another playful kitten). She frequently approaches for pats and then runs off to play when she’s had enough. She loves to play with toys or other kittens. She climbs a climbing post like a monkey and can balance on the top quite comfortably. born approximately May 2022

Starling is friendly, cuddly, and playful. She jumps around and explores all areas of a room, especially if any changes are made like a cat bed shifting. She goes into the covered cat bed to do crazy circles in the small space. She loves playing with Dove and they are frequently running around together. These two were born approximately May 2022

These 2 girls are a bit more adventurous and into things .. so they are very amusing to have around !! They would love a home with another young cat or one of her buddies !

Broken Promises Rescue is a volunteer run, not-for-profit, animal rescue organization located in the lower Vancouver Island. We are a group of long time rescuers that have come together to focus on improving the lives of unwanted, neglected and orphaned animals on Vancouver Island (as well as remote communities and other areas of B.C. if our resources allow us to.) Currently we are seeing many pets overlooked in the shelter system because they have less than desirable qualities. They may have medical or behavioral issues or they may simply be the wrong color, age or breed. At Broken Promise Rescue we believe all animals deserve to experience a life without pain, loneliness or hunger and want them to know what it feels like to be loved and cherished, despite appearance, age or medical condition. We are also dedicated to public education and raising awareness to help end the ongoing abuse, neglect and suffering. Educating children and adults about the responsibilities of animal ownership will go a long way in influencing public opinion on proper animal care, and help mold a more compassionate future. No animal should suffer at the hands of ignorance.
