Nigel is an affectionate older cat around 10 years old. He wants to live his best life in style and comfort. He doesn’t mind other cats or dogs as long as he has own space.
This boy would do best in a quiet house with older children, another cat and/or quiet dog. He takes a while to warm up to people as long as they understand to go slow with him. Once he is comfortable with you, he will become your best friend. When things become loud he will disappear under a bed until he feels it is safe to come out… unless it’s meal time.
When it comes to meal time, Nigel will chatter away letting you know to hurry up. He does not like to share his food with other animals and will bully to get more.
During the day, he loves to bask on a bed in the sun sleeping or looking out the window wishing to chase the birds. He is a playful senior with his string or laser pointer. Nigel is learning to like the brush. His coat is long fine and becomes matted very quickly if you don’t stay on top of his brushing. The best time to brush this old soul is when he is cuddly and purring like a little engine.
Nigel will make a wonderful companion for someone who is wanting a “young at heart” older cat.
