Charlie, Winnie, Lilly and Spark!

These cuties were found on the streets by themselves! you would never know it they are full of beans and super sweet and lovely! They have had their first vet visit and vaccines and ready for new homes ! They would LOVE a new home with one of their siblings or at least going to a home with a young playful cat ! They were born approx August 2023

Charlie is a boy – Adopted!!

Winnie is a sleek and classy, delicate young lady who is a keen observer and definitely has a playful and speedy side when she’s feeling spunky.  Winnie is also independent and likes to spend time in quiet, cozy places in deep meditation. Her hobbies include exploring new things and places and bird-watching and her favourite holiday is Halloween! Winnie’s favourite game is “pet me until I purr”. She has proven to be non-vocal, non-destructive and uses her litter box and scratching posts appropriately:)

Lilly is adopted

Spark: This gorgeous young boy is just back from strutting the cat walk in Paris for fashion week-he is truly that gorgeous! His lustrous black and white coat is a joy to stroke and his unique aquamarine eyes are truly mesmerizing. Spark’s joie-de-vivre is evidenced by his frequent rambunctious antics and strong desire for physical contact with his loved ones. He is a “bomb-proof” tumbly guy who will confidently fit in well with busy households with a lots going on and lots of loving hands. In foster care, he has proven to be non-vocal, non-destructive and uses his litter box and scratching posts appropriately:)

Broken Promises Rescue is a volunteer run, not-for-profit, animal rescue organization located in the lower Vancouver Island. We are a group of long time rescuers that have come together to focus on improving the lives of unwanted, neglected and orphaned animals on Vancouver Island (as well as remote communities and other areas of B.C. if our resources allow us to.) Currently we are seeing many pets overlooked in the shelter system because they have less than desirable qualities. They may have medical or behavioral issues or they may simply be the wrong color, age or breed. At Broken Promise Rescue we believe all animals deserve to experience a life without pain, loneliness or hunger and want them to know what it feels like to be loved and cherished, despite appearance, age or medical condition. We are also dedicated to public education and raising awareness to help end the ongoing abuse, neglect and suffering. Educating children and adults about the responsibilities of animal ownership will go a long way in influencing public opinion on proper animal care, and help mold a more compassionate future. No animal should suffer at the hands of ignorance.
