Meet Canteena (aka Hoisin) (tortoiseshell girl) and Hopper (aka Sriracha). (Orange Boy)

These cuties were born approx. Early July 2023.  They have two names because they have their original name when they came into us but the foster home is made up her own nicknames for them. 

These 2 cuties came to us in October 2023 after we rescued over 80 cats off someone’s property .. The family love them all and cared for them but it was getting to be too much so they reached out for help. 

Update from the foster home.

Hoisin is the more vocal, confident one. She tends to lead Sriracha as a big sister. Hoisin loves attention, and will gladly plop down for belly rubs from her person. If you stop petting her, she will gently tap you arm or hand to remind you that your job is not done yet. She likes to meow or trill when she jumps up on counters or tables, so that you know she’s around and it’s time for attention.

As for Sriracha, he is the silly little brother. He will follow you everywhere you go. He likes a few minutes of being picked up, and then cradled like a baby. He is shyer though, so he follows hoisin’s lead when it comes to socializing. His hobbies including following me around, chasing his own tail, and climbing up the cat tree. He loves to cuddle up with hoisin for naps and a bath. Once he comes out of hiding, good ways to earn his trust is with Churus. He likes wet food, but hoisin eats crunchies. When he trusts you, he will also start soliciting for tummy rubs and chin scratches.

They are super sweet and very affection and love to be with their human. They are bonded and love to be together also. They are shy of new people but LOVE their person and would be a great compliment to any home !!

They took about 3 weeks come out of hiding at the foster home and start trusting humans and about another 2 to 3 weeks until they settled in now and wanted lots of attention. But after that, they’re super loving and affectionate.
