Hercules is a chihuahua and is around the age of 11/12. Sweet little dude with lots of personality.
He is good with other dogs but He seems to have a preference for female dogs over male. He walks excellent on a leash, but with his age he can do really long walks. . He loves to cuddle/sit on your lap and likes to sleep in the bed with you at night. He loves watching TV and loves to bark/growl at dogs on the TV (TV relaxes him – we found out he loves to watch action movies like The Bourne Identity movies). He tends to growl if picked up, but does not bite. He’s like a grumpy old man but is a little softy. He is 100% house trained to go to the bathroom outside.
He’s great in the car. He loves people.
He would do best in a home only with adults and older mature children and no other animals. Or at least only female dog. He has been with cats before and does want to Chase them.
He also has not been left alone for long periods so we’re not sure how he would manage if somebody was gone to work all day.
While he was diagnosed with possible dementia, it is now manageable with his daily medication that you provide him with his meals
His medication that is required is $40 a month. He is on these meds:
Apo-Selegiline 5mg (1 a day in the morning)
Siv-Gabapentin 100mg (3 times a
