Update: This Cutie is getting better all the time! She still has a bit of a feisty side and sometimes will want to bite our hands (not too hard) but it is becoming less and less and she is wanting to snuggle a lot more ! She needs a home with one of her foster kitten buddies or at least a home with a young playful cat as that helps her blow off some steam !!

Now we all want a snuggle bunny and a sweet and gentle cat. But we know somewhere out there someone will want a spunky girl with a lot of SASS! Rainey is sweet and will snuggle on your lap and sleep with you in bed. But she also really enjoys human hands and thinks they are chew toys. This girl is sleek and beautiful so we all want to stroke her and give her a some nice head scratches but you will learn quickly that you need to move slow and the word “NO” will be big part of your vocabulary! She is getting better and if you do move slow you can get some good head scratches in ..

Rainey is learning that though this might be fun for her, it is not so much fun for the person wanting to love her.  It will take time to teach her that rough play is not acceptable, she is not mean or aggressive.  After she finally wears herself out, she is very happy to curl up on a lap.

Rainey would not be suitable for a house with young children.  All of her vetting has been done and she is ready for her forever home. Her eyes are an amber color and can look orange in certain light.  She was born on Valentine’s Day.  Rainy DOB 14 Feb 2024
