Sky is a 4 year old sweet girl who has blossomed into a lovely cat.  Once she settles and adjusts you could not ask for a better cat.  She has her playful times and will chase and run and play, and she loves to snooze around the house the rest of the time.  She will come for calm lap cuddles or just lay next to you on the couch.  Under the Christmas tree was a favorite spot for a week, only minimal ornaments were dislodged.  She’s frequently found on the back of the couch or under the dining room table, snoozing and observing.  She is very vocal when hungry and will twine around your legs or run in front of you to get your attention, I had to put her on a diet because she loves eating a little too much.  She’s great with dogs, will go right up to say hi, and often is happiest curled up next to a sleeping dog.   She a lovely girl but she will nip to let you know if she doesn’t like how your petting her.

We have since discovered she has upper respiratory and we have been giving meds and doing tests but it may possibly be something she may get off and on through her life

Update : (april 2026)
We have tried many medications, tests, and so far haven’t been able to clearher upper respitory. She sneezed many times a day. She is going to get a dental so we are “hoping” that this is the problem and will help her but sadly, we are running out of options to make her better. Some cats are just chronic with this and it may be for her. Thankfully she is a sweeet and lovely girl!! She just needs someone who will love her with all her snot boogers and all !
